Boy, this strip could be walking a fine line here, politically. Hopefully it’s not going to fizzle out like the last time with our now-departed “lesbian thespian.” Or worse: It pulls the “it was all a dream” cliche out of the dusty drawer. (In that case, at least let it be someone else’s dream, like T.J., who might secretly be worried that his days as resident cook may be numbered.)
I’m going out on a limb and saying that they ran across Rosa somewhere, Gunther showed he was still attracted to her, and everything went to hell after that point.
I can’t tell if they really enjoyed themselves, or if they’re being sarcastic and putting on a show for other people. It’s that “ha ha ha” that throws me off.Wouldn’t it be great, though, if this was all a test by Gunther’s mom to see how strong their feelings really are for each other?
