    B.I.O.N.!. What does that mean?

You could not have missed the point any more than you have.

Quinnipiac, the Economist etc. These aren’t skewed Repub polls. Rational or not, fair or not, America doesn’t want Biden as president and the only reason he is president is because of who he was/is running against but if the economy goes south in even a semi-big way, Biden is f**ked. And so will America be.

No one here gets it. I’m sure JB and CG and a lot of older politicians are very with it mentally (though some are definitely not) but the American people have weighed in on JB and regardless of the generally good job that he has done, they don’t want him a prez. The Dems ought to pay attention to that.

That’s the point, the Dems have been doing nothing to groom a new generation of NATIONALLY ELECTABLE candidates. Do they expect Joe to live forever? Is Kamala the answer? (Sure doesn’t look that way). I don’t who that person is, but I know who it isn’t, and if an 80 year old man is all of you’ve got, you’re in very deep sh*t.

Then how is it possible that he is tied with Trump in the polls? It seems a great many people are ignoring the tremendous successes. Just keep burying your head in the sand and bowing at the feet of party before country.

No idea what this means. TIED WITH DONALD TRUMP. What more do you need to know?

That’s great. He’s tied in the polls with a treasonous scumbag liar. You just don’t get it. It doesn’t matter what the reality is, it matters what the voters think and they think he’s too old and failing. And watching the likes of Diane Feinstein and Mitch McConnell only reinforces the notion. Do you want to win, or do you want to cede the office back to the Repubs because of principle?

And here I have been thinking all these years that Mike Luckovich lived in the real world. Regardless of his accomplishments (real and perceived), Biden is a liability and Democrats support him at their peril, and peril for the nation. A leader can’t just get policy right, he has to be a strong voice that people want to follow. Biden might be sharp as a tack still, but if he cannot overcome the perception of himself as old and doddering and communication-challenged (and he can’t), then it doesn’t matter. The possibility of Republican back in the WH and what that will mean to the SCOTUS alone should be enough to scare Dems straight, but apparently not.

TR is not wrong (though it would have been better to have Biden with one foot in the casket as he is not quite there yet), nonetheless, the choice is still an easy one.
