Frozen peas are a staple side veggie on my plate during the winter, as well as the colder parts of autumn and spring. In warmer weather, I have a salad for my veggies instead, thus frozen veggies are not much used during that part of the year. I will buy frozen peas, frozen carrots, frozen green beans, and frozen corn, then mix them together when I cook them. My wife doesn’t like them, but my daughter and I do, so my wife just does something else for herself.

Go back 6 days for your answer about the energy gain vs energy cost. “Maybe, but my company will primarily be an entertainment company! Any electricity we generate is just a bonus! It’ll be fun either way!”

Wow, that’s interesting! I never knew that connection before. That movie actually predates Pinnochio by a year, meaning that the term “jiminy crickets” already existed before the character of Jiminy Cricket was created for that film.

I’m not an American myself, being from Canada, but I think we all can agree that while various Americans believe there is a portion that are worse than everybody else, the absolutely worst American would be Florida Man. I see that guy in news articles ALL THE TIME, and he does so many stupid things!

Technically, Satchel would be referring to the kebab skewer, rather than the kebab itself. However, because the word kebab is often closely connected with the skewer in colloquial use, it’s close enough that Satchel’s use of it is easy to understand what he was actually referring to.

It sounds to me, based on what few ingredients we’ve been given, that it’s maybe some variety of spice cake.

Just because it’s in a salad doesn’t make it a vegetable. You can put fruit into salads. I’ve been known to add olives, cucumber, sweet peppers, or tomatoes to salads, all fruit. There are places that add things like strawberries or mandarin orange slices to salads. Then there are fruit salads, where all the ingredients are fruits.
