And I really don’t get what the problem is with the Pan Am “cameo” that drew such irritation. The Tracyverse has been full of anachronisms by its nature, and that just seems to fit in well enough with the rest of them.
Personally, I greatly enjoyed seeing Steve Roper and Mike Nomad back in action, their strip was always my favorite, and the nostalgia of having them back, even for a short time on a minor story was enough for me. Shoot, it was enough to make me finally make an account here just to say that.
I think today’s strip looks especially good in the black and white format, the lighting and shadows really lend themselves well to it.
