My dog can lick a pea clean without eating it. If there are peas and/or carrots in her food, she licks her bowl clean leaving nothing but the peas and carrots.
There are places in the US that are open 24 hours. In many states they are called diners. I remember having breakfasts in diners at 3:00 a.m. Near me, there are several diners that are open all night.
I used to be a middle school teacher before retiring. Our students were required to wear uniforms. There were a few students who would only have one shirt. They would put it in their locker after school every day, then put it on again in the morning. These were students whose parents could afford the shirts. The students just didn’t want to be seen wearing them going to and from school.
