Born and raised on the Hi-Line near Havre, lived in Choteau for 18 years, near the Rocky Mountain Front, Bob Marshall Wilderness, and retired to a ridge near Lolo, just south of Missoula, where The River Runs Through It. Our home is in the Bitterroot Valley, surrounded by the Sapphire and Bitterroot Mountains. Bozeman and Missoula have become convoluted with transplanted, wealthy Liberals from CA, OR, Texas. And we have lots of wood in MT that usually burns in the summer smoking us out.
Boys, boys, boys, in Montana, we have two National Parks and many State Parks. And there’s definitely a lot of Wood in those parks. Be careful out there.
But, Dearie, you seldom miss a day of complaining. I’ve been reading DT since the 50’s. That doesn’t entitle me anything but old age. You fire at will, but you don’t take return well.
And I love his pointy chin.
