I don’t find it confusing at all, and that’s a great catch on the “bug” in the first frame. It’s just a comic strip. One I have enjoyed for years, but I don’t expect to find perfection here.
Spring is coming to Montana. Almost time for B.O, to take his biannual bath. Bob Oscar “born” in 1945 and three years older than me. DT has always been my favorite comic strip.
On days like this, I miss Chester Gould and his cast of Tracy villains. Change isn’t always good…I hate how the fish wrappers decided Dick Tracy had worn out his welcome, but some of these current comics waste comic strip space. I’m still a hard copy reader and a Dick Tracy loyalist. But I also enjoy this site where Tracy and Sam live on.
It’s Big Sky, and it was actually filmed in Canada, I believe. Not authentic Montana at all. Our Montana Highway Patrolmen are dedicated and honest men and women. My dad, brothers and I spent many fall days snagging salmon south of Columbia Falls on the river. My uncle was a security guard at the Columbia Falls aluminum plant for ten years. I enjoy all of the DT fans on here.
I am 72, lifelong Montanan, and I have been a DT reader and fan for 67 years. I was broken hearted when Montana newspapers dropped the DT strip. I don’t comment much, but I enjoy reading the perspectives of fellow readers.
This division in the US will continue indefinitely. We have old millionaires in Congress who have completely lost touch with their constituents. We have term limits for our governor and our legislature in Montana. Sadly, term limits are also needed in DC. And now we have a demented new President and an extremist liberal VP. The division that started with Obumbler will continue…
