   I think the black hearts are on purpose. They represent a lack of true love. (Sorry Scarlett). They are getting together because of a temporary need. Betts needs Gunther for her post, Gunther needs Bets for female companionship.

   Maybe if Bets had paid double Tiffany could have had some of the decor Bets wanted.

   It’s too bad we didn’t hear a response from Tiffany after “Yeah, she said she needed space” and before “I told her I love her…”. This comic is good at revealing how we make judgements without all the info.

   Tiff “I am a plumber, I can fix Your bathroom.” Bets “I need a new roof.” Tiff “But I’m a plumber!” Bets “I’ll see you Thursday.” Thursday, Bets “Why aren’t you fixing my roof!”

   The “paid” business is still ambiguous. If Bets did pay it, that might explain her attitude. If she hasn’t then how low can she go and in that case Tiffany would be showing improved character.

   Did Bets pay or not? On April 16 she said “No pirates, no payment.” To day she says that she paid for pirates. Did she pay for them or request them? I don’t think either of them are right. Bets shouldn’t have expected a customized “romantic dinner” for that price and Tiffany should have made it absolutely clear that pirates weren’t an option or that of would cost more. Maybe Tiffany should have gone to the day care that she use to work at and see if the kids would draw spiders , cobwebs and skeletons for decoration.

   When last we saw Tiff & Bets together, they were at a stalemate. We do not have any idea what they agreed on if anything. We don’t know what the $300 dollar fee was suppose to cover. If it was Tiff’s fee for the elegant dinner for 2 then the extra cost for a themed dinner would need to be negotiated,but we don’t know.

   Maybe when she demands it back, he will hand it over and say “No problem, it is a fake like your lingerie.”

    I haven’t seen anything that indicates that Bets past boyfriends were abusive or jerks. Maybe they didn’t allow her to have complete control. ie. They disagreed with her.
