   This isn’t believable even as a daydream. Toni is well grounded in reality – she’d have to be taking hallucinogenics to even be imagining this sequence – and she’s not a hallucinogenic kinda gal.

   If I’d had a baby at Toni’s presumed age (I’m thinking under 30) it wouldn’t have been good for me or for the baby.

    I suspect not, at least not in terms of the possibility and the discussion. Yes, it’s possible that the test will be negative. But I suspect that at the least we’ll see Brad and Toni talking about the possibility of having a baby.

    I don’t think G&K would introduce the CB possibility of Toni being pregnant just as a plot twist. The subject is serious and would probably engender immediate emotional buy-in by a significant portion of their readers. Raising the possibility casually just to toss it away would alienate quite a few of their readers – and I think they’re smart enough to realize that.
