Shadow I forgot to mention that Crystal lived outdoors and in the garage during Tappy and Stripe’s decline but they were already decling. Nobody was left out. When we got our new kitten we adjusted the older cat Misty. It just depends. Just take it day by day. You’ll make the best decisions for each of them.
Shadow I know you must feel like you’re torn between your older cats and your new kitten bc he is now part of the family. We got a husky as our elder cats were declining. I was not working so I spent every waking moment with her and created bedtime rituals so she wouldn’t feel left out. Only you can decide what’s best for your family. Just bc he’s outside doesn’t mean he’s unloved and just bc you let him in doesn’t mean you don’t respect your elder cats. Take your time in making permanent decisions. You have already taken way big steps for his care and welfare! Good luck!
