As James Wolfenstein points out, trichophagia refers to eating hair, regardless of whose hair it is. But, if one REALLY wanted to get technical about this (? split hairs), then “autotrichophagia” would refer to eating one’s own hair, and “allotrichophagia” would refer to eating someone else’s hair (regardless of, wink-wink-nudge-nudge, the location of that hair). And “xenotrichophagia” would refer to eating non-human hair.
Overall, pretty disgusting stuff, no matter what you call it!
