To do what? Serve burgers and fries, sweep floors, run errands? My background is in engineering physics and geological engineering. I have no use for people whose education consists of four years of indoctrination in left-wing nonsense. I had respect for the humanities when I earned my first degree 45-plus years ago. I had to take a good many humanities courses, and I enjoyed what I studied. But I haven’t run across a humanities graduate in the last 20 years who can tie his effing shoe laces and balance his checkbook. The more unmoored humanities programs have become from what once made them pillars of higher education, the more useless their graduates their have become. Every year, such programs unload on to the streets of this country tens of thousands of miseducated students who have been programmed to be mouthpieces for one radical cause after another. Those whose parents are unable to play the full price of their highly inflated tuition will spend decades of their lives grousing about their inability to live as they think they should. Their high school guidance counselors and academic advisers should tell them that they are sowing the seeds of a bitter harvest.

People who have not dealt with the problems involved in developing numerical models (linear/nonlinear/etc) have no idea how complicated such models are or how easily they blow up without proper calibration and validation. The problems become more complex by orders of magnitude with global climate modeling.

Care to tell us which of the complex multi-dimensional (that includes time-steps integrated with 3-D spatial representations) nonlinear climate models is even close to being correct?

The humanities have descended into irrelevance as administrations and faculties have abandoned the Western Canon in order to appeal to the interests of self-professed radicals and students who are too lazy to master the academic foundations of Western history, philosophy, and literature. Many humanities programs have morphed into semi-academic smorgasbords without core curricula or direction. Such degrees are devoid of intellectual rigor and substance and are not worth the time and inflated expense to “earn” them.

Your choice. Good luck beating back Big Brother’s well-armed thugs with sticks, stones, pea shooters and sling shots. Remember Tiananmen Square.

The two “major” parties should be overthrown/reformed/done away with. Neither has the interest of this Republic at heart, but I think there is still hope within the Republican Party, albeit not much. The Democrat Party is a lost cause.

If that happens, the US will have descended into permanent third-world, banana-republic status.

Better hope that the ability to remove them means that government has not stripped you of your right to keep and bear arms.
