OH, I’m hoping this is the year Nate gets his dog for Christmas, but not getting too excited. I read an interview with Lincoln Peirce once where he said that Charles Schulz advised him once to “Never give the readers what they want” (or think they want), because it would kill one if the reasons people read the comic (hence why Lucy never did let Charlie Brown kick the football).
Still, I know what I’ll be turning to first in the paper this week!
Yes! Looks like Nate and his friends will be playing their traditional New Year’s Eve game of Monopoly this year! I’m happy.
