Agreed. Neither is very good for the other, even if we all disagree about which of the gals is the bigger problem.

Here’s how it could have potentially gone down so that nobody is being deceptive-Jack: “Hey, Nil, I can’t make it to the art show. Is there someone else you could go with?”Nil: “How about that Bernice chick. Except, I don’t know her very well. Could you ask her for me?”Jack: (thinking “oooh, I bet he likes her!”) “Sure! I think she’d enjoy that”

    Then the Jack-Bernice conversation. Then…

Jack: “this is so cool, Luann. I just facilitated a date between Bernice and Nil!”Luann: “Benice and Nil? Really? I didn’t think they even liked each other.”Jack: “Really. He asked me to ask her, since he wouldn’t have an opportunity to do so. And when I asked her, I barely had the sentence out of my mouth before she said yes, so she must be excited as well.”Luann: (thinking “hmmm, that was unexpected. She was totally into Jack. Or maybe I read that wrong. But, I’m happy for them”)

Ending with the Luann and Bernice convo.

What if Luann is right and “I need some space” is about her closet? As in “I need some space in my closet for Gunther’s clothes” and Bets comes back to Weenie World saying “Well, Gunther, I found some space. Grab your things, you’re moving in!”

Highly unlikely, but it would be nice to see Luann be a little less bumbling buffoon and a little more stealth genius.

Hair is a computer genius, in disguise as an airhead. He and Tiffany will go into business together and be wildly successful, so when Anne bankrupts Daddy and they come begging for money, Tiff can tell them it’ll be good for them to fend for yourself.

She told Ed the table was worth $2000 new. Given that Gunther has been selling her clothes for her, she has to know that used items are rarely worth the same as new, so there’s no way Ed is getting $2000 for it.

As much as I think Tara is a bad influence on Luann, Luann is not innocent in this. Both girls have continually escalated the situation at every turn. Luann asking Tara to get in front of the class and explain the sculpture, when she knew Tara had no legitimate motivation was as much an attempt to humiliate her as was Tara’s Zebo artspeak and “teachass”

Except that, students are often required (even at the community college level,) to take some sort of art class. At my CC, there was an expectation to take a variety of classes to create a well rounded education. Which categories (art, history, social awareness, etc) depended on specific degree programs. This may very well be moving them toward their degrees. Their behavior, on the other hand, I cannot explain away. :)

Which is how Tiff could support herself! She and Punk could have a YouTube channel

Right? I suspect, even with the best intentions, Tiff as Nails will fall by the wayside once Tiff starts enjoying access to the (in her eyes) “free money” credit cards will allow her. The potential upside is, maybe Tom will see how Ann drove Tiff to the situation, and reign Ann in.
