Wow, this storyline was quite racist.
I am living for Nancy’s adorable double chin.
I love how Nancy’s wearing pants more and more as the weather’s cooling. (But just long sleeves for Esther. A girl has her limits.)
I wasn’t uncomfortable, per se, but as a woman I’m well beyond over seeing any “you’ll take my catcalls and like it!” comments get validation. Which, as @astutepanther pointed out, the commenter got by automatically becoming the featured comment. And ultimately, this is a comic strip about a little girl, so maybe this is actually an okay place to take a hard line against misogyny?
I’m pretty okay not seeing the “Fritzi is so hot, and anyone who has a problem with my complimenting a still image of a fictional character is the true monster” comment again.
My favorite thing about GoComics is getting to see grown adults trying to shame/correct the behavior of fictional children.
I need a squad of angry girl friends. (And one token clueless boy.)
I love Nancy’s pants.
I’m so here for ruthless genius Nancy.
