Odd that a precise, photo-realistic artist like Thompson would slip up like that…

jazzman – “Technology is bad”? I ain’t sure how the wild, natural phones are growing where you live, but around here we have to make do with the phones technology has created. (likewise, only by hoisting the fellow in a fireman’s carry and walking, “taking him to an emergency room” is using technology)

I notice the Daily Planet on the skyline. Of all the fantastical things in the Superman mythos, the hardest to believe in these modern times is that Clark Kent is an investigative journalist digging up facts and solid news. (along with Lois Lane, of course)

Young and naive, I worked legitimate telemarketer job once. Between the abuse thrown into my ear by the potential customers and the supervisor walking around shouting for “MORE HUSTLE” like a hockey coach, I tried to quit two hours into a four hour shift. They asked me to stay three hours to make some payroll paperwork easier. I did and thus ended that career.

Change ain’t always “good”. But, change is inevitable, so a person needs to rise to the challenge and make the best of it. (Phree philosophy with your phunnies)
