   children emulate what they see adults do in their lives and in media when they are pretending. it’s funny how a child would be doing the ADULT thing of wearing eye masks to look younger though. anyways, it’s certainly a better habit to get into than pretending to smoke cigarettes.

   i get this strip all too well. i wish i could go the rest of my life without hearing about anyone’s “step count” or “getting their steps in” again. tracking steps has been part of the company that i work for’s “wellness” incentive program which they started a few years ago so I’ve been hearing coworkers talk about step count ever since then. it is such a drag to hear people talk about even when I’m not involved in the conversation. please, Nancy, don’t talk about “step count” anymore. lol. or i suppose she could start living out everyone’s fantasy of strapping their synched fitness tracker to the ceiling fan or dog to inflate their step count.

   i was just reading this week about how 96 month car loans are at a record high. that is such a long time to be paying off a vehicle.

   it’s like in back to the Future when Kevin Arnold’s brother can’t believe that Marty’s house has two tvs.

   i like how the tree acts as the panel divider in the middle. it turns the middle to panels into one bigger center panel.

   i did this on Tuesday when buttering the crust of a homemade pizza. why not? my house is also cold enough that the butter could be held on this way. it would be much messier to do it in the summer at my house.

   I’d guess that she is either experimenting with flavors or she knows what she likes and the pie needed more salt.
