Arbutus DO lose their leaves, just not in the fall. No, they shed leaves in the heat of summer and are acidic so if you don’t rake them up they kill your lawn. They also have flowers that are acidic, paper bark that also sheds and is also acidic. Arbutus and lawns cannot co-exist. Love the look of Arbutus but hate them as a tree I have to maintain. Oh, and they don’t even make good firewood!
I can never find my size when I shop in person. I end up ordering the darn pants when at the store, so I might as well shop online.
