Well, accepting the way you tell it as the reality of it, her reaction to a simple demonstration of the uselessness of what was shown to be mere clutter was WAY out of line. And as much as I hate the idea of divorce, when your plane is going down in flames, it’s probably a good idea to eject. It’s so sad… the one rock of security for a child who can’t take care of him/herself is the safe, secure home with two parents who love and protect him/her. When the home becomes a place of uncertainty and unpredictability, the world becomes a very frightening place, and anyone or anything that threatens to add to that insecurity, (real or imagined), becomes a scary enemy to be fought.
