For help on how to follow a comic title,
Your beer is cats’ p*ss, too.
In other words it rhymes with crew, or you, or few. Oh, and the London Undeground, the Tube? Pronounced Choob, not Toob.
It wouldn’t work here across the pond as we pronounce the word “dew” correctly – “dyew”. “Aloominum”. Pfsht. Bloody colonists.
Yesterday’s strip was correct and this one is wrong. Mosquitoes don’t kill anyone – they just propagate the little bastard that does. They vector the single celled organism Plasmodium falciparum (in South America, Plasmodium vivax) into humans via their anti-coagulant saliva when they bite you. P. falciparum and vivax kill you by feeding on the globular protein subunits of the haemoglobin in your blood. Saying the mosquito kills people is like saying that someone who died of a heroin overdose stabbed himself to death with the syringe.
Why is there an “s” in lisp? Why is dyslexic so hard to spell?
A far more pertinent question – why does the doorknob keep changing from one side of the door to the other?
Trolley dolly! Trolley dolly! Trolley dolly! I’ll get me coat …
