   I can recommend the book series, by Diana Gabaldon which are a mix of romance, historical and fantasy about a WWII nurse who gets inadvertently thrust into early 18th century Scotland, the first movie and the tv series

   Lawful in D&D means you have a strong set of rules that you adhere to, It doesn’t preclude violating the rules of others. I haven’t decided if she’s Lawful Good or Evil though
