In the same vein, the farmer who discovered someone had shot his tractor during hunting season. It was a John Deere.

Taken that this is actually a comic strip and the situational background is very thin, all of the above insights are very thoughtful and possibly each is correct. ;)

And if you explained to them that their actions emulate Darwinism, they’d have a screaming fit!

Not sure about even then. They’re more likely to think about revenge than about stopping the source of the problem.

One thought that I would leave with you…At this point in time, MANY small business are barely managing to stay afloat. If they were required to pay their employees a $15 minimum wage, it could very well lead to their closure of having to cut back on the number of people that they employ. I am all for the $15 minimum wage but there is such a thing as practical timing…

The Supreme Court hears a case today that could weaken a key provision of the Voting Rights Act that prohibits laws that result in racial discrimination. Brnovich v. DNC concerns a challenge brought by the Democratic National Committee against two provisions of an Arizona law that critics say unfairly affect communities of color. The laws have to do with strict requirements to vote in a specific precinct and who can handle ballots. Voting rights advocates fear the court’s conservative majority could set new and stricter voting precedents. After Donald Trump’s repeated baseless claims of voter fraud after the 2020 elections, state lawmakers have carried over or introduced at least 253 bills to restrict voting access in 43 states. Just sayin’.
