Well, it was a little more than just being seen with his extra-curricular interest, but I get your point. Hard to believe we can’t pick better candidates to run our country.
State Universities used to provide affordable tertiary education to those who required it for professional growth or some careers. There is nothing to stop them from doing so now except the will to do so. Leaving it to the federal government only increases the cost and decreases the likelyhood that it will meet the needs of anyone.
