   Re: SGT at 21, that is not crazy talk, 36 months time in service is the earliest one can make Sargent, so if you joined up when you were 18 it is not out of the realm of possibility. (By mid 20s to late 20s many of your enlisted folks who signed up at 18 are going to be out since they put in their service).

   My brother when he was about her age thought when I was talking about “Miami” it was a place that was mine, called Ami, so he would call it Yourami.

   I can safely say the TVs in the common areas of my dorm buildings were never the sort of TV that one would seriously consider stealing for any reason what so ever.

   Maybe if they were in a pinch for a wheel-chock, or boat anchor, or something like that, but not for an actual “TV I would not mind watching or could sell for money”
