And striking a nerve was your intent. In the end — nobody really ever likes someone who enjoys causing trouble. You can’t trust that anything they say isn’t meant to get people upset for their own nasty little enjoyment.

I just hate the fact that Kat is supposed to be Heart’s cute rival and that she now has a carrot for a nose.

Why does Cat have a carrot for a nose? She was supposed to be Heart’s cutie-pie rival. Now, she certainly is not.

Has anybody explained to the cartoonist that PHILADELPHIA schools are closed for the year? The fact that Mark “got it” and used the new normal in the strip is remarkable. Now, we go to a bland, all-purpose tale of tweeny angst is actually a tone deaf approach that is pretty thoughtless. It’s shallow and a poor strip arc at a time when it could be so much more. It’s bad enough to be in such a fearful time, and school will never be the same for kids around here. The setting for this strip is Philadelphia and that has figured prominently in the plot. If this does not get better soon, I’m opting out after years of being a fan.

Has anybody told Steenz how important the setting of this strip is? This is NOT Heart of St. Louis! She’s a PHILADELPHIA girl. And Mrs. Angelini, if she survived, will never be the same.

This is just another lame generic tweeny tale of angst, now.
