In the 60’s, we had a teacup poodle and a standard poodle & when my mom took them to get groomed, the teacup had the lion’s main cut, the standard had a short trim all over, and both would come home with painted toenails and matching-color bows – but never did we dye the fur which was SO popular back then, just painted toenails! LOL! :)
Sadly, I’m old enough to know what a mimeograph machine is. Learned how to use one in high school when I was taking a business machines class, which was right after my stenoghraphy class. (I swear I graduated in the 20th Century, 1975 to be exact. LOL!!)
I’ve seen some amazing tattoos on people and while I would never get one myself, I can appreciate the artistry – and a lot of tattoos are very personal to the person who has them, so I say, to each his own. :)
I saw that same program – always DVR the programs on Shark Week, and I learned something new that I didn’t know before about sharks! Box jellies I already knew about – no swimming in Austrailia for me! (:O
I LOVE that movie! Been watching it since I was 6 years old! (yes, I’m THAT old) LOL!! It was the very first thought I had when I saw today’s strip :)
