We’ll never have a complete understanding of our existence since we lack the necessary conceptual framework. Our conceptual abilities face the conundrum of either a universe that suddenly appeared from nothing or a universe that has always existed. Neither results in a “complete and satisfactory understanding”, at least not for me.
Think he accidently hit the call icon while scrolling and then couldn’t hang up fast enough for it not to connect which resulted in the call back. It’s kind of like a “butt dial”.
I believe it’s simply that he doesn’t want an unexpected paper airplane from the bar interrupting their dinner in the dining room so he’d rather be eating in the “launching area”
