Male, single, retired since 12/18, liberal, Minnesotan, use the Platinum rule as a guide to life "do unto others as they would have you do unto them", don't think we'd need another law if we all did that. We have free will, use it and allow others to do the same without judgment. The world would be a fine place if we could manage that.

Tried chair yoga, lifetime of activity has left me bone on bone in both knees (surgeries on both, and both feet, plus one rotator cuff) leaving my unable to do some things – but the chair yoga was a joke, no benefit felt at all. So am doing things I can but still thinking about finding a way to incorporate actual yoga – for seniors with limitations. Be surprised at how hard that is to find.

Quite right. I’ve lost both my sons, though not at birth, one a month past his 21st birthday, the other at 36. No one knows how I feel, or felt. What you were told is perfect. Or so therapists and my own reading have taught me. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I had two sons, one died a month past his 21st birthday, the other at 36. There are no words apart from, “I’m here if you want to talk” that make that better, not even 24 and 11 years later. I just think sloughing it off, or “you can have another” to be unhelpful, from what reading and therapy I’ve done, that seems to be the option for most. I’m glad something else worked for you.

Doesn’t. And that’s a horrible thing to say to someone who’s just miscarried.

Yes, as a kid, didn’t know what I was eating, only time though and it was 65 years ago. I didn’t know they still made that stuff and I didn’t want to.

Another lame attack on Biden? He’s more awake and alive than Trump has ever been in his life, including when he was “enduring” his personal Vietnam.

No, they’re not. Antifa isn’t even an organization. It’s just a group of people who don’t want fascism taking root here. We fought a World War against fascism, my dad served in that one along with many others in my family. You support it now? BLM is asking for an end to systemic racism, something else everyone should support without question. Complete equality for all colors, we are one species, it is only reasonable that all of us enjoy the same rights and opportunities. That’s not overthrowing, that’s evolving. Into a civilization.

Literally no one is calling for the overthrow of the United States, nor our constitution, though Trump IS acting as Hitler did during the 30’s as he consolidated power and turned Germany into a fascist authoritarian state. The left, which is who I assume you are talking about, want an end to systemic racism, our constitution respected, the First Amendment respected, not just the Second. We want America to be better than the racist, divisiveness the republican party has given us.

I AM a veteran, I still honor that oath though it’s more than 50 years since I took it. That Trump and his party have done nothing about the Russian bounty program is treasonous in my judgment. Trump didn’t make America great again, he damn near ruined it, it will take years to undo the harm he and his party have done. There’s not a patriot among them. Draft dodging chicken hawks don’t make good leaders. It is time to make America great again but that requires removing those who put party before country from office.

He got it half right. The first time yes, but then this: “Africian American woman.” In the first post.

Good Gawd. It’s African. Every time you write it, you get it wrong. So what does that say about the rest of your little rant?
