Male, single, retired since 12/18, liberal, Minnesotan, use the Platinum rule as a guide to life "do unto others as they would have you do unto them", don't think we'd need another law if we all did that. We have free will, use it and allow others to do the same without judgment. The world would be a fine place if we could manage that.

’63 Impala, the fins are a bit off, but a friend of mine had one just like that.

Not anymore. You do get an email. But you’ll probably notice it on your step when you come back from somewhere, unless you have notifications turned on for your email, which I do not, too annoying, just check it a couple times or so a day is enough. I guess the Amazon “work ethic” and quotas prevent a second to ring a doorbell. UPS usually does that much. USPS does if it needs a signature.

It’s all you can eat salad OR a tiny bowl of soup, not both. Or was the last time I was in one which is probably more than 10 years.

My granddaughter sat on my 120 pound lab/shepherd cross when she was about a year. He looked at me, like, what? He let her sit until he decided to move at which point he just stood up. She slid off. No harm, no foul.

It is. And it’s wonderful. For the first time in my entire life I’m on my own schedule, not parents, school, army, college, work. And I love Sunday afternoons, when I remember it’s Sunday, knowing I don’t have to get up for work the next morning. That was far more pronounced in the first few months, but now I even forget to think about that. 7 months into it and loving it.

This was her entire life plan when she was in the smaller version. What now? Rocket science seems out of the question. As did her “famous” plan considering how high the odds are that anyone manages that.
