   Somehow, I think sitting at a table with Martin would make me lose my appetite somewhat. I’d rather Martin change “seats” with Rover, the more deserving of the two . . . and put an extra plate at the table for Brian.

   How about a GIRL and HER dog? Arguably, female humans seem to have more love, empathy and nuturing attitudes towards animals anyway. Just my opinion, formed from day-to-day life experiences. Great strip today, Brian. Never retire, please. Couldn’t stand it without my Red and Rover fix. Love that dog!!!!

    PANEL 5 – SHADES OF OLIVER HARDY, JACK BENNY, ETC. I WOULD NEVER MISS A DAY OF RED AND ROVER JUST FOR ROVER’S POSTURES AND EXPRESSIONS ALONE!!! (IN THIS CASE, NO EXPRESSION EXPRESSES A LOT!) OH, BY THE WAY – DID I MENTION THAT BRIAN IS A GENIUS?
