You guys may be on to something with Big Mouth. Too much attention is focused on him. He is involved somehow.

Or…Brad dies in the fire. Toni is a hard luck girl in her personal life. They could kill Brad off. What’s-her-name knocked off loads of characters in For Better or Worse. Grandpa and Farley the Dog come to mind. Maybe Evans has a death and a Brad-the-Ghost image up his sleeve? He could have Brad join Grandpa and Farley in Farley’s Tree.

This is Pru’s chance to flirt with Bernie a little more.

Once Bernie has a one-eyed man she’ll never go back!

Can we be finished with Piro? His character was never developed. Fix Bernie up with Pru and get on with the saga.

I don’t understand why he refuses to spice up the action and make it true 2016. We have an adult comic strip. Why can’t Bernice follow her heart and hook up with a nice young lady? Why can’t Gunther meet a nice boy and settle down? Fix up LuAnn with a massive African American dreamboatnis. To me, an obvious pairing is Ox and Gunther. Have them discover each other.

Zebo has a private wink-wink, nod-nod joke going with his students. That’s why his students keep taking MORE art classes. Even though none of them will be artists. Zebo doesn’t give a hoot about grades or work anything. He wants his paycheck. It’s an act, a con game. They all understand it’s malarky. They smile and nod and take the easy hours.

Mr. DeGroot is such a knob! Such a head-on-a-stick.

Gunther’s point about California coppers earning $102,000 per year interests me. I would guess the inflated salaries reflect California’s MUCH higher cost of living. An LA flat-foot probably needs to live within commuting distance of his job? You’re a pauper in Los Angeles if you’re getting by on anything less than six figures. Go stand in line for a free bowl of soup and a cot.

Time to shift over to a different story line for a few weeks.
