You know they’re going to forget the fries. I wish I had a buddy like Kahuna.

    His litterbox.

That wise a$$ is probably packing heat.

Been there, done that, feel your pain. Glad you’re feeling better.

  5. 19 days ago on Pearls Before Swine

    Kinda hard when you’re dead.

That’s fine for a few seconds on a straight clear road to scare your kids, but this was in rush hour traffic on a road with some curves. If something had hit the fan, it would have been ugly.

Saw a woman putting on eyeliner using the rearview mirror, at about 60 mph. But the one that still gives me the shivers is the yuppie in the BMW going 75 down the interstate, newspaper spread across the steering wheel, Starbucks cup in his left hand and holding his cell phone in his right. WTF was he steering with?

But you shut off his wag, Garfield!

  9. 25 days ago on Monty

Fleshy wins it by a long shot, but Pilsner is a solid #2.

I have to respectfully disagree. The kids portrayed in this strip are in 3rd grade, about 8 years old. Kids of that age GENERALLY aren’t psychologically ready for some of the very distinctly adult themes found in The Eiger sanction, and many other books. Will there be exceptions? Sure, and Caulfield is probably one of them, but exceptions are just that, exceptions.
