   Sorry, but No. Both sides do not lie at nearly the same rate. Democrats may occasionally lie, but often they are just tackling complex issues that confuse people. Republicans on the other hand only occasionally tell the truth. One of their big lies is the democrats lie, so it is OK if republicans lie. We can not just ignore it, we have to fight lies. I have a feeling that you lean conservative, which does have a lot of good basic ideals. Like personal responsibility, self reliance, morals, ethics and so on. The problem is that republicans like those ideals, but do not hold their candidates to those standards. Some where it leaves those ideas and becomes fear and hate. We need to fight the fake news and lies, because they are part of the hate and fear. They divide us, and get us to hate fellow Americans.

They are not leftist, they are Americans and they are fighting for everything this country was founded upon and are fighting evil. What is wrong with you? Really, what is wrong with you that you hate your fellow Americans so much? That you hate the ideals this country was founded upon?
