Might be that way might not be, we have no proof one way or the other, we still can’t explain how the universe was created, so an afterlife might exist, or there might be nothing at the end of the road.
If she still had what was stolen, or the money that came from selling it, then that should be returned to the descendants of those it was stolen from, but with it having been generations, the horses have died, and her ancestors long spent the money they got from selling it.
Personally my opinion is, that you can’t be held liable for what your ancestors did, except in that if your ancestors got their wealth by stealing it, the inheritance of your ancestors, should go to the descendants of those your ancestors stole from.
There’s obviously a degree of separation, the more generations it’s been, the harder it is to determine, if the inheritance you got from your parents, came from your great-great-great grandparents stealing something, or if what they stole, and the money they got from stealing it, was long lost before your parents got their inheritance.
It’s easier with inherited things, there you can actually trace back to whether they were stolen or not, but when the things were sold generations ago, it’s hard to determine, if the money you got in inheritance, actually have anything to do, with the money your ancestors acquired though theft.
Sure it does, but the fact of the matter is, that accounting for inflation, this generation is just making less money than the previous one did, some things have gone down in price, some things have gone up in price, but as a whole, the current generation is getting a smaller slice of the pie, than the previous generation did.
Well considering she can knit a coaster in seconds, and can knit a glove around your hand before you have time to move it, she’s probably been knitting it at least 2-3 minutes.
Glad they were removed, religion should not influence law.
Apples can last long even without wax, the apples from my dads apple tree, have often lasted well into spring without any preservatives.
It’s called global warming, because if you measure the temperature everywhere accross the globe, then you find the average temperature is rising, there’s places that are getting colder instead of warmer, but the average trend is rising temperatures.
Oh but there are, it’s called dying young.
Well I aint seen a single comic, mention things like the Rwandan genocide, so maybe the comic artists who don’t mention 9/11, just aren’t infected with that American brand of toxic patriotism, that cause Americans to decide they’re the most important thing in the world.
And of course, not all comic artists are Americans.
Oh fuck off, there’s way worse tragedies than 9/11, maybe comics should begin remembering those, instead of keeping on going on about this one tragedy, like it’s the worst thing that ever happened, instead of just one of many tragedies that has happened, and is still happening across the world.
