Just 15 states and Puerto Rico still have adultery as a crime on the books but rarely enforced. A few only recently decriminalized it. In 12 (Arizona, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, North Dakota, South Carolina, and Virginia) its a petty offense or misdemeanor. In Oklahoma, Michigan, and Wisconsin it’s a felony up to 5 years in prison in OK and 4 in MI. Also subject to court martial under the US Code of Military Justice (actively enforced)

The Democrats are to the left. Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived …

Hmmm I drive a semi nowadays and I have not heard of that factoid. I have only heard it referenced as a DOT bumper. I’ve had a vehicle hit it once when they didn’t realize I was going to stop at a red light. They pushed it about 3 inches out of vertical. I didn’t even realize I was hit as I had just stopped I assumed it was my load shifting forward, I did look at my mirrors but no one came forward. About 20 minutes later safety called and said I was in an accident and asked me to pull over and take a picture. Sure enough it was pushed in.

Yep that simple. I’m not entirely sure about the numbers but it is greater than 1 for the number of women who do leave their crap husbands who then end up in hospitals or worse in the morgue for having the temerity.

Not sure proud is the correct word. Being a metal head I likely wouldn’t know one of her songs either but I don’t ever hold ignorance as something to be proud of. I listen to NPR through the day and they are always interviewing people whose music I have no ideas about (often they will say something about everyone knowing x song) but I just let it slide and hope one day they will have an artist on I care about. They had Dave Lombardo from Slayer on not long ago but he was talking about his solo album which is not metal and explores the influence of Cuban and Caribbean music on his drum playing.

The bourgeoisie did not contribute the raw materials. Workers (i.e. farmers, miners, lumberjacks,…) acquired the raw materials by labor and then the bourgeoisie bought that and provided it to their workers to do the assembly and then took that work and turned it into profit. Without the workers they would have nothing other than some status that they were probably born into.

I just hope that is not a VFW bar. While Ray may have been trying to get to Toggle he could have inadvertently set off some others nearby.

So not what is normally happening at a drag show, especially family friendly shows. Think fashion show, comedy acts, singing, etc.. These laws are also targeting drag artists just reading books to children. No dancing of any type. https://www.cbsnews.com/minnesota/news/the-history-of-drag-and-how-drag-queens-got-pulled-into-politics/

How is a clothing style immoral? It is clothing designers who have designated what clothing is designed for who. God thought man was just fine naked. It wasn’t until a piece of fruit was eaten that clothing became a thing. Dressing in clothing not “designed” for your birth anatomy is not immoral. Sometimes it is done for fun other time it is to express one’s inner self. What is immoral about expression?
Technically not true. Its a violation of code to use an actual flag as clothing. Such as a cape. Representative flags, such as patches, are ok, its why our military has one on their uniform shoulder.
