   Yep. stopped reading Al Capp back in the sixties when he went senile and started his off-the-wall “Little Joanie Phony” tirade against Joan Baez (a wonderful artist deeply committed to peace ) during the Vietnam war. Look her up.

   Remember Richard Nixon? Remember the hardhat creed: “My Country, Right or Wrong”? Translation: My Mother, Drunk or Sober. You’re probably too young and never served a day in uniform. I did. I’m an honorably discharged, disabled US Navy veteran. Please sit down, be quiet and let the adults in the room have a rational discussion, you just might learn something.

   There is trolling, and there is the DUTY of a civilized sentient citizen to speak out against evil and FOR what is noble and right. I know the difference.

   Yes, women once “knew their place”, could not vote or go to school and were considered property. Slavery was once believed to be a really, really good thing too – free labor and all that.
