What if they are going to take a “dark” turn. Someone’s Chute does not open. I guess Luann would be exempt from this result, but Dad, Tara and Piro? Any of those three might not be safe…

Lots of Chicago High Schools still have pools and the more recently built schools have good pools. And that’s a system with a lot of financial problems.(Note: A “recently built” High School in Chicago is a relative term. Many of the school building are more than 100 years old. Northside College Prep, built in 1999 was the first New CPS High School in 20 years. And the only new school since then was Walter Payton in 2000. And a new building for Jones about 10 years ago,. So that’s three new High School Buildings in 45 years…. and one of the existing schools is using a building from the 1870’s…)

Uh, didn’t Gil have some old fashion’s on the way to the airport? That’s an incredibly big no no when flying. (Yes, I know, Air France used to serve wine to their pilots while in flight) Drinking and driving don’t mix, drinking and flying really don’t mix.

Well… it all depends. In the early 1970’s my high school’s football games were, in fact, on the radio. Mainstream radio. And my high school was good enough in basketball (and a couple of other sports) that they fielded two basketball teams in the primary league. A Blue and a Buff team. But Hawaii in the early 1970’s was a bit unique. We also played our games first in a 25,000 seat stadium and later moved to a 50,000 seat stadium when the 25,000 seat stadium was torn down.

You mean like restricting public performances of Shakespeare (particularly As You Like It and 12th Night)? Or the Opera the Marriage of Figaro (unless you are going to cut Cheribino)? Just to name two very obvious examples of cross dressing that wouldn’t ever seem inappropriate? Its a badly written silly little law that seeks to take away parenting rights.

What’s all this noise about Art Models posing undraped for Artists. Its been a thing for hundreds of years. Art Figure Modeling requires a significant level of physical skill (holding absolutely still for extended periods) and is a perfectly respectable occupation. Art Figure Modeling (and arguably even Art Photo Modeling) is not words on banned list removed or anything of the kind. Now many of us know we would be no good at it (I am far too “jumpy” to hold poses for the minimal periods of time, let alone for extended poses) but its not because its a socially unacceptable occupation.

And then there are situations like KSUI and WSUI, both of which are in Iowa City (West of the Mississippi). Its the “current” rule, but was not always the case. Just like call signs used to have 3 letters (WLS and WGN in Chicago, KGU in Honolulu and so forth)

This reads like a set-up for “Mr. Thorp, this is Sgt. Friday. We are sorry to tell you that..”

I think that she ends up sitting for Nil as an undraped figure model.
