I wonder if Steenz is setting up a joke about the length of Gargoyles season 2. The kids will definitely need breaks while binging that monster.
Kim Possible started when I was 19. A few years ago I made a reference to it while talking to a little girl. She didn’t know what I meant. Turns out she had been born after the show went off the air. I felt so old.
To expand on what del_grande said, the Broadway show made changes to make the show easier to stage. The biggest were the removal of the animal characters and supernatural elements (except the dancing ghosts in “Once Upon a December”). A Bolshevik general replaces Rasputin as the villain.
Also, the kids’ costumes in the first panel match ones worn in the Broadway musical. Do a Google Image search for “Anastasia Broadway” and you’ll see what I mean.
My senior year of high school there was a fire “drill” that turned out to be a real fire. Luckily it was small – just some ceiling tiles. A rumor spread that it was started by a kid with a cigarette but it was really an electrical short.

When I was a kid my older sisters got their ears pierced. Sister #2 was fine but Sister #1 had a horrible allergic reaction. I decided to skip it. I’m 37 now and still don’t have piercings.
