    No, Indians during the world war 2 were being recruited against their will by the british to be their cannon fodder. So the growing hatred for the british led to some openly supporting the axis powers to overthrow the british colonial power. The Swastika aspect was later planted by the British Missionaries to denigrate the Hindus as well as distance christianity from the Nazis, for whom that symbol was the Hakencruz or the ‘Hooked cross’

    You’re talking about the mummified native Americans I think. In Hindu traditions adults are always cremated, so he may have had to be laid down on the funeral pyre, especially if it would be done at a place that mandates the electric cremation which is sort of the less messy way we do it in some major cities vs doing it outdoors.
