Ratty Giuliani basking in the shadows with his “incriminating papers” was a great touch!
I used to live on the estate of the Exchequer of Nottingham, which still had a small bit of Sherwood Forest attached to it. A good distance from Nottingham itself, which was proof of how big Sherwood must have been back in the day, and the perils of travelling through it without Travelers’ Checks or armored cars. Suffice to say I have an acquaintance with the folklore and, without getting into the accuracy of such lore, Robin’s “Band of Merrie Men” was presumed to include the Hoodster himself.
Well, to quote someone whose opinion you obviously respect highly: “Pretty thin skin there bud. Why are you so threatened by the suggestion?”
You seem more than willing to make inferences about people based on what they say but ~ despite the fact I never even hinted at who you may have voted for in any past elections ~ you seem readily offended that others might apply the same tactics to you. Sorry if I poked a hole in your Merry, Man.
If you’re such a sterling advocate of mature, respectful civil discourse, I recommend voting for a president who knows, lives and promotes the meaning of those terms next time around.
I have to admire the tenacity of anyone who can still defend Trump’s “presidency” after all he’s said and done. Idiotic, racist, treasonous and beneath contempt, but tenacity nonetheless.
Well, it took some searching, but since you asked (if the subtitles don’t come up automatically, click the “cc” at the bottom): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvgZtdmyKlI
HEY, GO COMICS: IF YOU CAN KEEP REFRESHING THE %$&**#@! ADS, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO KEEP DISPLAYING THE NEW PANELS THE CARTOONISTS SEND YOU! This will soon be the fifth or sixth strip I’ve unfollowed because you keep falling asleep at the freaking switch!
Thanks so much for illustrating precisely what some of us have been talking about. I don’t recall rattling your cage on your beloved strip; in fact, I haven’t visited or commented on that site in quite some time. Perhaps you didn’t notice that this isn’t a Nancy site, as her defenders seem to be lurking everywhere in the cyber-woodwork. It was nice, though, to be able to discuss our honest opinions on the matter without being lectured by yet another Neo-Nancy. While it lasted, that is.
