panel 4 is awesome!
I understand. I’m asthmatic too and so is one of my sons who has special needs. When we need to take him to dr’s appts he’s been pretty good about keep it on so far. It’s hard to be asthmatic and wear a mask but it is what it is I guess.
My husband had a wonderful boss named Karen too. She was like a dream boss. Sadly that job didn’t last for long, I had a feeling it wouldn’t. But it was nice while it lasted.
Now this is the reason I like Lio. Love seeing his monster friends. Oddly enough I was talking to my son about this movie just yesterday and he asked me if it was a black and white or color movie.
There are a lot of cases where there has been unjust treatment by the law, and not only with black people. Someone I know personally (white) was a victim of unjust treatment by the law and it caused physical damage to her. And she wasn’t even resisting. I am the mom of two disabled adult kids and a lot of people act like their lives aren’t as important (and it hurts.) So even not being black gives you a taste of this hurt. There was even a case years ago where a man with down syndrome wouldn’t leave his seat in a movie theater and he was stomped to death basically the same way George Floyd was, but no publicity on that case. And the police got away with it, no charges! No punishment for the cops! At least in the George Floyd case there is accountability, lots of it.That being said, it is true that black people are judged more in a lot of situations. My son is judged by the way he looks too (down syndrome) . So I know how an outward appearance can make you feel judged. And the racial injustice that black people have suffered over the years is horrible and disgraceful. Everyone has been judged but some more than others. And when I think of All Lives Matter to me it means equality for all. Because if we aren’t all equal than no one is truly equal. But right now I can understand why Black Lives Matter is the focus. Off my soapbox now.BTW Lio is awesome.
I hope so! Sadly this as probably as close as I’ll get to seeing Oona Goosepimple again, so I’ll take it.
At first I thought it was spaghetti!
Me too SHIVA. This comic has gotten too cerebral for me. I guess I am just a simpleton.
This was very cute.
