   Why did this comic suddenly end, loop back to an old comic, end that arc and then loop back to the beginning of that older one. Is somebody just throwing the strips in a jar and randomly pulling out one a day?

   So the new writer has made Alley a total fool and Doc and dropped the Doc’s IQ by 80 points or so. Must be targeting the grade school audience, or Californians.

   After following Alley Oop for decades, I’m done. The new strip is just not up to the old standards. The art is terrible and the story arc mundane. Lil Oop wastes space on Sundays.
