It was a republican senate that confirmed him to be Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. If only they had done as good a job with the Supreme Court. On the other hand, I can think of one other famous officer that went around civilian control of the military, Oliver North.

The problem is your political comedy is no where good as regular comedy. This is middling at best compared to the professionals. The weight of the message does not make up for the lack of humor in this COMIC. But keep at it; someday you might be good at it.

I still think the way to influence some of the anti-vaxxers is through insurance. If someone engages in unreasonable behavior (and there are some people that have good, medical reasons to turn down the vaccine) that costs more money than they have to repay, they will turn to insurance to make good the cost. I see nothing wrong with the health insurance companies trying to recover their loss by making a claim against the unreasonably risky person. Most of these people will have to turn to their personal liability insurance to cover the cost. Most people have this insurance as part of their homeowner’s insurance. This will cause them to either loose the insurance, or pay more for it. If they loose the homeowner’s insurance, well, good luck with a mortgage.

I keep thinking the way to encourage vaccinations is through insurance. If you engage in reckless behavior (like not getting vaccinated, and, not having a medical reason for avoiding it) and suffering an injury or causing damage; most people would turn to their insurance to cover the cost. There is nothing to stop the insurance company from raising their rates to make good their loss. Your reckless behavior caused the loss; you pay for the loss. If personal liability insurance companies sued health insurance companies for repayment; this could lead to people loosing their insurance. And, since most people have personal liability insurance through their home insurance, and, since you need home insurance to have a mortgage, this could lead to people loosing their homes. Since nearly everyone in Oregon getting the virus is unvaccinated, I don’t care.

A# 466 if you notice, your not blue. Mine was an original comment. I was only wrong with embellishment. Not wrong about you being “done”. You had to come back just to see the response to your comment.
