My son was hit in the head with one when he was at a birthday party in the early 1980’s. An experience I will never forget. I heard the scream and he came to the house holding his hand over his eye with blood everywhere. Thankfully it had grazed the front top of his head. I don’t think any of the kids there (7 – 8 years old) every threw a jart into the air again.
