I’d rather see him in an orange jumpsuit and being known as ‘Federal Inmate 847932’.
It was a nice country we had here. Too bad Trump and his collaborators happened to it. So much for being the party of law and order.
The GOP CAN stop him, they just choose not to.
He cancelled his meeting with the Danish PM when she called his idea to buy Greenland ‘absurd’ and left the NATO summit early to sulk because the other delegates mocking him. He should be known as POUTUS.
After FDR died at the start of his 4th term the GOP pushed for the 22nd Amendment limiting the president to 2 terms. Then they wanted to repeal it in the 80’s to that Ronny Raygun could run for a 3rd term.
…but different rules apply to them. When they were accusing Obama of being born in Kenya (never mind that he was actually born in Hawaii) they said you had to be a native-born citizen – born in US territory. The fact that his mother was from Kansas didn’t matter. When Cruz (who WAS born in Canada) was running for president, the fact that his mother was American meant he was qualified to run. Then there’s deficits only matter when a Democrat is in office; a president can’t appoint a Supreme Court justice in the last year of his term, yet McConnell says he’d approve a nominee appointed by Trump in the last year of his term, etc etc, etc.The history of the GOP from 2015 to 2020 will be subtitled “Profiles in Cowardice”.
I’m of the opinion that Trump having a massive MI would be the best thing for this country. To that end, I’d be willing to send him some gift certificates to McDonalds or Burger King.
My Dad served in the army in the 1950’s during the McCarthy era. He was as staunch a Republican as you could ever meet. He couldn’t stand JFK and thought Nixon got railroaded. He’d rather die than vote for a Democrat. I knew Trump had gone off the rails when, shortly before the election, my Dad said about Trump “That guy’s a f***’ing idiot, there’s no way in hell I’m voting for him.”
Don’t get sick…and have the decency to die quickly if you do. The insurance company stockholders wouldn’t want you to be cutting into their CEO’s multi-million dollar salary or their profits.
Members of the military and intelligence communities are say that the raid on al Baghadadi was a success despite Trump-not because of him.
