I’m a fan of Newsom’s, and so here I must agree with Varvel in asking, what the hell was the governor thinking? Idiot! That said, leave it to tawdry, low-frequency, devoid-of-any-legitimate-point, scribbling little Red cartoonist to see this as some sort of a triumph for the Reds – to immediately land on it like an irritating fly at a picnic, rather than recognize the immoral, the stunningly criminal acts of his own group.
