   Look, this is Trump’s own fault. He has no one to blame but himself for his not being able to keep his trousers zipped, which is what led to this whole thing.    That’s my point. Biden made some lighthearted comments to a room of folks who were not reporters. It wasn’t meant to be a press conference about the shooting. But when you’re president, anytime you’re available is an opportunity for a sound bite. Agreed, the timing of when they cut to his remarks was unfortunate, which is why we’re having this conversation.

   That said, it’s good to have mlester back in the saddle. One of the finest cartoonists out there, IMO. We need both sides in the mix. Something we all need to learn is it’s okay to disagree.

    Classic example of context. This wasn’t a press conference about the shooting. The event Biden was at was a gathering of women-owned businesses, some of which happened to bring their children. He paused to comment on the shooting during the meeting. When the press cut to the scene early, they caught his opening remarks.
