I’ve mused on that myself. It’s been around for almost 90 years!
Until my sophomore year in high school, we HAD to wear skirts or dresses, no pants were allowed. We complained a-plenty on cold days! When we got the dress code loosened up to allow pants, it was hard to find a girl with a skirt or dress. I suppose by the ’80s, it was no big deal anymore.
I came from a family of 5 kids and all the boys learned to cook and clean besides my sister and me.
True and so do boys.
My daughter used to borrow my shoes when we wore the same size when she was 11 but I have tiny feet and hers are a little bit on the big side of average so she couldn’t fit in them anymore by the time she was 12.
Maybe they are like the pants in “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.”
We don’t need no stinking notes!
She’s got 13 1/2 cats?
That’s more like pouring than spilling.
