This is a repeat comic but one of my favorites. My son had a big mastiff who thought he was a toy dog and he mouthed a small dog trying to play and the little dog fainted. Almost the same scenario as this comic.
Yes, I saw the PBS version of the story and enjoyed it. It made me go back and re-read it. Some differences but the PBS film held pretty close to LeGuin’s story line.
Jack is a lot like Billy Mumy in “It’s a Good Life”. On a conscious level he’s like the protagonist in LeGuin’s “The Lathe of Heaven”. Now there is a weird tale.
This re-disorganization also screws with regular employees who zone the aisles and put things left elsewhere by customers who changed their minds about an item and left a frozen box of lasagna in women’s lingerie. Walmart is notorious for this practice.
This is the non sequitur. Wiley, you did it again.
So far gun control laws have not solved the mass shooting problem in our country and they won’t. Our Second Amendment rights guarantees citizens of the right to bear arms. That right SHALL NOT be infringed by the government. Responsible gun owners have a right to own and use their guns responsibly. We should never punish the majority for the actions of the few.
These guys aren’t hunting? Notice the guy carrying the cooler.
Recycled gag from January 1998. Still funny
This is how Democrats negotiate with Republicans. Give them what they want and they will give you ………? Republicans fall for this every time.
I’m enjoying the Nebbish story in serialized form. Takes me back to an earlier time and allows me to speculate on what happens next. excitedly waiting for next Sunday.
