What a great plot line! Once again Staton and Curtis have me on the edge of my seat.

Has anyone else noticed that the calendar in today’s strip is historically inaccurate? The real June 1944 began on Thursday, June 1. D-Day occurred on Tuesday June 6th, 1944. Easy mistake for a prop man to make if this hospital room is a phony designed to trick our hero into thinking that that bump on the noggin took him back in time 70 years.

Hey. Remember the “War Comics” of the 1950s. This panel reminded me of them. Great art work. Very graphic. These artists on the new Dick Tracy are outstanding.

Interesting plot….but I think “Sweatbox” is the most repulsive of this strip’s villains, and I’ve been following Tracy since the 40s.

One of my early childhood memories was seeing Dick Tracy tied to a door by the villain of the moment and being floated along in a Chicago sewer. Over the years, our hero has been in one tight spot after another. This one is right up there with the most diabolical, but he always comes back. This is a great comic strip! Staton and Curtis are doing a great job bringing Tracy to a new generation.
