Welcome aboard! Last October, Goldie was introduced to the strip as a cat who had been abandoned by her people (based on the true story of Goldie becoming part of the family). One of the first things that she did was to “borrow” Lupin’s (white cat) tape recorder, for which Lupin harbors a grudge. He was none too pleased when the People adopted Goldie and has made his animosity quite clear. Discovering that she was not treated lovingly by her former people seems to have opened the door to Lupin’s heart, if even a little. (Sorry for the lengthy post.)

When my nephew was a toddler, whenever he said “Uh-oh!” His parents would say “What did you do?” One day in a restaurant, one of the folks in the next booth said “Uh-oh!” As you probably guessed, my nephew looked at them and said “What did you do?” :)
