when I was growing up in snowy upstate NY my mom had boot trays by the door and in really wet and messy situations we threw our boots and snowsuits in the bathtub.Problem solved.
my comment is on a strip you had a few days again while driving down the NYS thruway. I am originally from Amsterdam NY in Mongomery Co. (near the exit you mentioned in your strip) Would you by anychane be located there or maybe Fonda? Dang ,but that is close to home for me!!
my Dad always said “What you do not like you will acquire a taste for.” and Mom always said “This isn’t McDonalds, you don’t get it your way.” There were 8 of us, we ate what we got, because if you didn’t the odds were the kid next to you would.
PS…there were 8 of us. Mom had to “housebreak” us !
